Happy Friday! I just finished a little project that I'm really excited about. I found a little moppet needing love at the thrift store and immediately started dreaming. Meet Joey!

Isn't he just the sweetest thing you ever saw? I had some clothes from another doll I had purchased as a mannequin, and they fit him perfectly! I cleaned him up (poor baby was filthy) and put him in his new clothes, but his little feet were bare, so I made him some little booties. And I couldn't stop there. A baby needs wipes, right? So I made him a little wipe container, the design for which I nabbed from the 2 Little Hooligans blogspot. Here is the link for this wonderful tutorial: http://www.2littlehooligans.com/?s=doll+wipe.

I cut up some Pattern Ease into 4" x 5" rectangles to make the wipes themselves, but my husband said it would be a perfect way to recycle used dryer sheets! So that's an idea you can tuck into your cap for replacement wipes.

I also had a little diaper bag that I found at a little thrift store years ago that is perfect for dolls, so I took it out of my stash for this little moppet and filled it with everything a new mommy might need: a bottle, a snack dish, a bib, a couple of spoons, a rubber ducky for bath time, a hair brush and comb for after the bath, and of course, the wipes. I also made him a brand new blankie!

I had so much fun with this moppet. I'm hoping he finds a loving home very soon. What have you done to make the world beautiful today? Go out and make a difference! Blessings,
